Hello! My name is Veronica Mendoza and I am a Senior at Wesleyan University double majoring in Economics and the College of East Asian Studies with a minor in Film Studies. I am the Financial Manager of the Latin American Student Organization on campus and have been an Orientation Leader twice. Through my experience as a Residential Advisor and Mentor for underclassmen, I have developed my interpersonal skills and discovered that I really enjoy problem-solving. As a result, I am interested in the people side of economics and am interested in pursuing a career in Consulting. I enjoy thinking about what kind of economic decisions people make based on the environment and culture they’re surrounded by and seek to pursue a career that will allow me to explore these questions.
